We welcome our new logotype that was developed for us by Team de Haas. It was time for us to get an upgrade in the way we profile ourselves. We wanted a logo that looks forward, still simple, open and friendly. In the logo you see flags symbolizing the countries we come from, Finland and Sweden. You can also see the three xxx in the flags which you also find in the official symbol of the city of Amsterdam. It consists of three silver Saint Andrew’s crosses. These crosses you can find spread all over the city, on different items such as the famous street pole’s also called “Amsterdammertjes”.
We have great expectations for the year 2012, with lots of happenings both in Amsterdam and outside. Fore instance we have the Floriade exhibition in south of Holland, close to city of Venlo from 5th April to 7th of October.
Every year tourist bureau of Amsterdam announces a theme year, except for next year because of the celebrations in 2013 were a lot of energy is put in to. The re-opening of Rijksmuseum, the 400 year jubilee of the canals of Amsterdam, the concert hall and the royal orchestra celebrates their 125 year anniversary.
Amsterdam also welcomes a lot of new hotel properties that contributes to easier access and more choice in accommodations. From three stars to luxerious five star hotels.
